Ausam Energy Corporation (Ausam Energy) is a publicly-traded natural resource company, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "AZE". Ausam Energy is engaged in oil and natural gas development and exploration in Australia.

In February 2004, Ausam Resources Limited agreed to be acquired by TSX Venture Exchange listed Northlinks Limited in an arm's length reverse take-over creating Ausam Energy Corporation.

In February, 2007 Ausam Energy announced that it had closed on a US$46 million financing and the acquisition of 19 prospects and leads located onshore in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. The new acquisition of more than 60,000 gross acres (47,000 net acres) further diversifies our portfolio in areas of known petroleum production with established infrastructure and gas markets. The US properties will be operated by a wholly-owned subsidiary, Noram Resources, Inc.
